THE grandparents of students at Tooradin Primary School shared in the joy of book week with their grandchildren last week.
The special visitors at the school watched the children cook in the kitchen, prepare for the annual school concert and they shared in reading time before visiting the school fair.
The day was thoroughly enjoyed by both the young and old and the students had some great reviews.
“My Nanny came to school and we read books and did some writing,” Bella said.
Others even benefited from having their grandparents there for the day.
“We had fun during book week – my Nanny came to school to see what we do,” Jacoba said.
“We went to the book fair and she brought me a book.”
