A CRANBOURNE mother and son have been reported missing after not being seen since Saturday morning.
Ly Ny, 29, and her son Leon, 8, left their Hotham Street home in Cranbourne about 7am, intending to go shopping and have not been seen since.
Ms Ny’s mobile phone was located about 2pm at the Knox Plaza Shopping Complex and handed in to centre management.
Staff at the centre were able to make contact with Ms Ny’s family using the phone.
Her family has since reported the pair missing to police.
Ms Ny’s vehicle, a 1992 Mitsubishi Pajero with registration XKI 525, is also missing.
Police continue to make inquiries regarding access to funds and the circumstances surrounding the pair’s disappearance.
Police have urged anyone who sees them or their vehicle to call triple zero immediately.
