A LYNDHURST lead-foot was clocked travelling almost 90km/h over the speed limit last week.
Officers from the Frankston Highway Patrol clocked the 25-year-old travelling at 188km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Dandenong Hastings Road, Skye, around 10.30pm on Thursday night.
The man told police he had been in a hurry to get home.
His Volkswagen golf was impounded for 30 days under hoon laws, and he is expected to be charged on summons with driving offences.
