Charges laid in armed robberies

GREATER Dandenong’s Embona taskforce has arrested six people over three armed robberies in the south east.
Police executed search warrants on Monday (15 April) relating to robberies between 5 and 8 April at milk bars in Springvale and Mulgrave and a service station in Springvale.
An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy from Hampton Park, a 19-year-old man from Springvale South and a 28-year-old man from Ferntree Gully were charged with one count of armed robbery.
A 25-year-old man from Springvale South and a 21-year-old Cranbourne West woman were charged with two counts of armed robbery.
They were remanded to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 16 April.
