DETECTIVES from the Casey Crime Investigation Unit are investigating a spate of burglaries which have occurred throughout the City of Casey.
Police believe the same offenders are responsible for the crimes which occurred in Berwick, Cranbourne and Hallam.
The first offence was reported on 27 January, when a man and a woman entered a pizza store on Belgrave-Hallam Road around 2pm.
The couple made their way to the counter and stole cash from the till while staff members were out the back.
On 15 February, a man and a woman entered a florist on High Street in Cranbourne around 2.50pm.
The couple proceeded to the counter, stealing cash from the till.
Staff who were in the store at the time were told to remain back before the couple exited the shop.
Nobody was injured during the burglary.
Police are led to believe the same couple are also responsible for a theft from a cake store in Adams Lane, Berwick.
The two offences occurred around 1pm on 24 February and 12.10pm on 1 March.
As with the other incidents, offenders entered the unmanned store before stealing cash from the till.
Police have released images of the people who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
