CRANBOURNE Secondary College gave its newest students a warm welcome yesterday.
To kick off the school year for the new Year 7 student, the schools held its annual welcome breakfast from 7.30am.
Students and parents were invited to enjoy the breakfast together with their new peers and teachers before being Year 7 transition co-ordinator Kevin Quinn, principal Ken Robinson and the school’s community engagement officer Karen Davis.
Cranbourne Secondary College pro-active and preventative program manager Jan McAleese said it was the seventh year in a row the school had put on the welcome breakfast for students and their families.
“It was a gloriously sunny day and the volunteers were there early setting up and cooking a wonderful breakfast of sausages, bacon and eggs, toast and fruit platters,” she said.
“The morning was considered a success by staff and students alike.”
