Geeksbourne?

CASEY residents have proven to be amongst the most technologically savvy consumers in Australia, with the region being one of the most prolific for mobile shopping in the state.
People in Cranbourne were identified in eBay Australia’s second annual Mobile Shopping Study as living in a mobile commerce hotspot, coming in the second highest in Victoria (with Werribee as number one). Narre Warren was the fifth highest on the list.
The most common purchases in the area were for phone cases and covers, dresses, dvds, video games and plants, seeds and bulbs.
The study showed that about $1.1 billion is spent annually on fashion in Australia – through mobile devices – while similarly $1.0 billion is spent annually on electronics.
One in five Australians are shopping on mobile devices this Christmas season, the study showed.
ebay Australia vice president Deborah Sharkey said it was the everlasting search for value that drives consumers onto mobile devices
“Mobile empowers consumers with the ability to instantaneously research products, compare prices and purchase on the go,” she said.
“Mobile devices turn every waking moment into a potential shopping occasion.
“eBay apps have been downloaded more than 100 million times globally.
“We expect more than $10 billion worth of goods to be bought on eBay mobile apps this year.
“Australia is one of the most sophisticated mobile shopping markets globally, with mobile contributing a significant share of overall sales.”
