Fresh look for fresh food

AN extra 15 jobs have been created in the community with the official opening of the redesigned Coles Lynbrook Village last week.
The supermarket unveiled its new-look, market-style layout on Wednesday 21 November.
Upgrades at the store include a redesigned fresh produce section, an in-store bakery team of six, new meat department, new entertainment and paper offerings, and six self-service checkouts.
Coles Lynbrook Village store manager Daniel Van Duuren, who has worked with Coles for 14 years, said he looked forward to welcoming local shoppers to experience the store’s fresh offerings.
“We can’t wait to welcome local shoppers to our new-look Coles store,” he said.
“Customers will love the refreshing new look and different features designed to emphasise our fresh produce.
“We’re privileged to have a fantastic, dedicated team who are engaged with customers and the local community.
“We pride ourselves on good, old-fashioned customer service so it goes without saying our team members – most of whom are locals – have great relationships with our customers and always endeavour to provide exceptional service.
“Staff members Shirley and Jane have been with Coles Lynbrook Village for over 25 years each and have established friendly relationships within the local community, so it will be great to see such experienced staff leading the way when welcoming an additional 15 members to the team.”
Coles Lynbrook Village is located at Lynbrook Village Shopping Centre.
