BRIDES to be will be able to get help on planning their big day at an upcoming wedding expo in Cranbourne.
The YMCA, in conjunction with Amberlee Receptions in Cranbourne, will host the Wedding Expo for the Casey and surrounding community between 6.00pm and 8.30pm on Thursday 11 October.
Up to 40 exhibitors from all areas of the wedding industry within the South East Region will be showcased at the event.
All proceeds from the event will go back into the community through YMCA Open Doors, in support of the Youth Mentoring Program in Casey.
The program supports young people assessed as ‘at risk’ in our community by matching them with an adult volunteer mentor who helps guide them to make positive life choices and achieve their maximum potential.
YMCA youth mentoring manager for the Casey community Rebecca Graham said that this year’s expo would provide a great boost for all aspects of the region’s wedding industry.
“This is our third Wedding Expo event and – going by past events – we are looking forward to another successful year, with many new exhibitors coming on board to promote their products and services,” she said.
“The event will allow those who are planning their wedding day the chance to shop around in one convenient location.
“Visitors will be given passport cards to be stamped at each stall in order to maximise stall visits for local business exhibitors on the night.”
Entry is $5 per person on the night, which will include a free Wedding and Bride magazine for the first 50 brides.
For more information on the wedding expo or to secure a stall contact the Wedding Expo hotline on 5990 8620 or email weddingexpo@ymca.org.au.
