Kath Day – Knight strikes a pose. Kath Day – Knight strikes a pose.

IT was the best welcome home party they could have asked for.
Rocking up in a neon pink hummer, Kath, Kim and the gang were glad to be back in Fountain Lakes after filming in Italy.
“I’m a local person,” Kath said.
“So I like being local.”
Excited that her night of nights had arrived, Kath said she was overwhelmed with the support of her local community.
“It’s so nice that so many people could join us,” she said.
“They’ve really gone to town, I mean literally, they’ve gone to town to buy something to wear tonight and brought it back – it’s just wonderful.”
The World Premiere of their film Kath and Kimderella could have been mistaken for a high-end fashion show, with each of the stars stepping out in eye-catching designs.
Leopard print, tight tights, crop tops and ugg boots were the order of the night, and that was just the fans – many dressing up for the occasion.
Walking the red carpet the whole crew dressed to the nines, but the standout would have to be Kim’s second best friend Sharon, who wore a glitzy handmade creation by her Nanna Kitty.
“Nanna Kitty made it for me, we didn’t know what I should wear so we went to Lincraft and picked something from there,” she said.
“I’m calling it NetBling.”
Kath donned an aqua onesie with a touch of glitter in her hair and matching eye shadow.
Kath’s daughter Kim said she didn’t want to draw too much attention to herself so went with a bright fuchsia ball gown that can only be described as understated elegance. Her husband Brett the perfect accessory for her outfit.
Kath’s husband Kel brought some old world charm with a brown pleather jacket and matching man purse.
“I always feel at home here, as you know I have a shop down on the mezzanine,” Kel said.
“But it’s all changed so much with the redevelopment. Not many people know this, but I’ve actually had a lot to do with it, had a word to the council and it’s just great.”
It was a star-studded affair with stars like Shane Warne, Ruby Rose, Libby Gore, Frank Woodley and Kerri-Anne Kennerley all making the trip to Fountain Lakes to catch a first glimpse of the movie.
