Blow for breath testing

A CRANBOURNE North man caught the attention of police before entering a random breath testing site in Hastings on Sunday.
Hastings police were running a random breath testing site in Marine Parade when an unregistered car crashed into a power pole before the site about 7pm.
Police said the 22-year-old P2 probationary driver from Cranbourne North admitted to travelling at 100km/h in the 70km/h zone.
The driver underwent a breath test and returned an alleged reading of 0.185 per cent, police said.
The man was expected to be charged on summons with various traffic offences including drive at speed dangerous and drink driving.
