THE Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck Show is set to rumble into town this Saturday.
This year organisers are expecting a bigger and better event than previous years, with good weather forecast for its milestone– its 15th birthday.
The event has plenty on offer to suit people of all ages including kids amusements rides, V8 dirt bike show, hot rod car display, helicopter rides, live band, a Braap mini bike display and a raffle with a Braap bike the major prize.
The day will also feature the two main attractions – the tractor pull and truck show.
Event treasurer Rhonda Cooling, from Bendigo Bank Tooradin, said they expected a big crowd and had lots of tractors lined up to take part in the competition.
“We are hoping for a bumper crowd in the event’s 15th year,” she said.
“We have packed in as much as we can, so there’s something for everyone.
“Come along and help celebrate one of the biggest events in Tooradin and the City of Casey in its 15th year.
“Support the event so we can give back to the community.”
All proceeds from the event go back into local clubs, schools and charities.
The Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck Show will be held at Rutter Reserve, Tooradin.
The truck show takes place from 10am to 3pm and the tractor pull kicks off at 3pm and runs through until 10pm.
Cost is $25 for adults, $10 for children and $60 for families, with discounts available for those arriving before noon.
