Rocking the roof off

THE young Casey community will have the chance to rock out at the Casey FReeZa committee’s annual end-of-year event tomorrow night.
The committee, along with Spectrum Entertainment, will present Live n Loud Friday night at the Narre Community Learning Centre.
Headlining the show will be hardcore bands Lovers Grave and No Way Out, who will be launching their new album ‘dead ends’.
Vultures, Who Invited the Wolf? and City of Casey Battle of the Bands winner Glass Empire and Divisions will support the headline acts.
Casey mayor Shar Balmes said Casey’s younger generation had a wealth of talent which needed to be supported and celebrated.
“Live n Loud is a great opportunity for a number of talented local bands to showcase their music to an appreciative audience,” she said.
“I encourage Casey’s young people to support these fabulous bands by attending the final gig of the year.”
This event is an all ages, fully supervised drug-free, alcohol-free and smoke-free event, with no pass outs.
It will kick off at about 6pm and run until 11.15pm at the Narre Community Learning Centre, 1 Malcolm Court, Narre Warren
Cost is $12 or $10 with a pass, available prior to the event at all Casey Youth Information Centres and customer service centres.
