RANGEBANK Pre-school celebrated its multicultural diversity last month, with its annual international day.
The children dressed in cultural clothing and made the flag of the country of their choice on Wednesday 26 October.
The students and teachers also enjoyed a cultural feast supplied by the parents, as well as sandwiches and pancakes.
Rangebank Preschool director Barbara Ryan said the event was held annually as part of Children’s Week.
“As preparation, we discuss different cultures around the world, create international dolls to decorate the room and set the light box up with international animals along with a globe and posters and flags around the room,” she said.
“Thanks to all those who contributed to the day and those parents who assisted. I couldn’t do it without them.”
