POLICE are seeking information about a big brawl in Doveton in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police said they received a call about 1.30am with reports of a large brawl involving firearms and that shots had been fired, however learnt on arrival that it was not the case.
Police said it was now believed that a group of men were walking along Paperbark Street when they were met by another group of men and an altercation broke out.
A third group of men then also became involved in the brawl when they were driving by and pulled over.
Police said it was then believed two more vehicles arrived with men in them, believed to have been called by of the groups, which chased off the third group that became involved.
The men then began trashing cars parked nearby with chairs and shovels and throwing stones and chairs. About 20 police attended the scene and broke the brawl up.
Police would particularly like to speak to the owner of a red VN Commodore Sedan, with a black rear sunshade, which was at the scene of the affray.
