FROM football to lawn bowls to aqua fitness, Casey residents won’t be short of choice at the All Abilities Sports Carnival.
The annual carnival is being run by the Council in association with local sporting clubs and leisure facilities to celebrate people of all abilities.
City of Casey Mayor Shar Balmes said the carnival would run from Monday 28 November until Saturday 3 December, the International Day of People with Disability.
“The All Abilities Sports Carnival is a great opportunity for people of all abilities to have fun, make friends and try out a variety of sports,” Cr Balmes said.
Most sports including tennis, cricket and soccer are being offered for anyone 12 years, while gymnastics will be available for five to 12-year-olds.
Registrations are now open and can be made by calling the City of Casey Customer Service office on 9705 5200 or emailing leisure@casey.vic.gov.au
