ONE lucky local resident walked away a happy customer from Centro Cranbourne last week after winning a new car.
Cranbourne East resident Solange took home the major prize – a new Holden Cruze -in Cranbourne Centro’s Travel in Style and Win Competition.
Solange was one of eight lucky contestants who took part in the grand prize draw on Friday. They had the opportunity to see if their key unlocked the car, to win it.
To coincide with the travelator works currently underway at Centro Cranbourne, the promotion started on Thursday 4 August.
Entry forms were distributed via the centre retailers and each week a finalist was drawn out.
The campaign ran over eight weeks and concluded on Thursday 29 September.
On Friday, all eight finalists were invited to select a remote key.
Solange was the second week finalist and it was her key that unlocked the Holden Cruze.
The remaining finalists did not go home empty handed, each winning a Gold Coast holiday from the $32,000 prize pool.
Celebrations at the major prize draw included Elvis and Marilyn Munroe characters entertaining the crowds with free giveaways.
They were joined by the centre manager Carol White and marketing manager Michelle Symss, Cranbourne Holden Dealer principal Tom Davis and Melissa Martin, from Cranbourne Flight Centre.
“Centro Properties Group is pleased to be able to reward loyal shoppers who have continued to visit the centre during our travelator upgrade works,” Ms White said.
“While the travelator is not quite ready, we can assure all our customers that it will be well worth the wait, as the opportunity to travel in style awaits them.”
