TOORADIN Primary School students celebrated Literacy and Numeracy by inviting their grandparents to school last Thursday.
They shared their learning achievements with their grandparents, who were delighted in hearing how the school has changed in the years that have passed since they attended the school.
The students in Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 baked a delicious morning tea for, all to enjoy during their weekly cooking class. Among the delicacies were lemon blossom slice, chocolate balls, date loaf and pizza pinwheels.
Teacher Rachel Davis said it was a great day for all. “The grandparents were made to feel very welcome and students were thrilled to be able to show all their favourite aspects of school with their special Nan and Pop,” she said.
