STUDENTS and teachers and Cranbourne Secondary College cooked up a storm in the kitchen this month.
Things got heated in the kitchen as students from the Year 11 VCAL five class and 12 teachers went head-to-head for their own ‘MasterChef’ challenge.
Teams of two had to prepare the chosen main and dessert, which were then judged by the school’s own food critics, John, Chris and Ann from the library.
Student team Dean Kelly and Raymond Walden were the winners, with teacher duo Sharon Linsell and Mark McCabe coming in second.
Students Cameron Cook and Tayla Morrell were awarded third position.
A shield ‘Master Chef Trophy’ was donated by Butch and Jenny Cunningham, grandparents of two of the students, which will be engraved with the names of the winning teams.
