The group held the special occasion at the Tooradin Sports Club on Wednesday 8 June.

Liz Birch was made the new secretary, Gary Birch the treasurer and first vice-president, Andrew Dolan second vice-president, Sandra Holland third vice-president and Bill Friend, Marion Martin, Norma Barnard and Rachael Holland rounded out the board.
Wayne Tierney was made Tail Twister and Lion Tamer.
The club presented cheques for $500 to a number of local clubs on the night including Tooradin, Blind Bight/Warneet, Devon Meadows and Pearcedale CFAs, Tooradin Foreshore Committee, Tooradin Public Hall Committee, Pearcedale Public Hall Committee, Cranbourne Historical Society, Tooradin Preschool and Pearcedale Preschool.
Member Liz Birch was recognised for her service to the club since its formation and for her work as booking officer and market co-ordinator when she received a Neil Williams Fellowship.
A special presentation was also made to Lion Mr Butler who was made a Melville Jones Fellow.
Mr Butler was the first Lion inducted into the Balla Balla club five years ago and has taken on roles including branch co-ordinator, president and club charter-president, and has run the community market.
Presentations were also made to retiring secretary and past branch co-ordinator and treasurer Peter Martin and past treasurer Mr Sutcliffe.
In the past year, the club has successfully ran a number of community events.
