EXCAVATION equipment valued at $7500 has been stolen from a building site in Cranbourne West.
Between 4pm on Saturday 4 June and 7am on Monday 6 June, a group of offenders gained entry to a building site at a new housing estate on Westernport Highway, Cranbourne West.
The offenders stole the equipment including an excavation bucket, exaction ripper, excavation grader blade and mud bucket.
Police said that due to the size and weight of the items, a number of people and a trailer would have been needed to take the equipment.
Two of the items weighed more than 15,000 kilograms each.
