DUKES Body Works could not be more happy with their two apprentices.
The Cranbourne business’s two apprentices have both been finalists in two prestigious awards this year.
Spray painting apprentice Brent De Jong was awarded Chisholm Institute of TAFE 2011 Second Year Apprentice of the Year last month.
Christopher Van Soest, a panel beating apprentice, was a finalist for 2011 RACV Apprentice of the Year.
Dukes Body Works manager David Fulton said the business was extremely proud of both young men.
“Both of them show extreme diligence, pride, enthusiasm and eagerness in our work place,” he said.
“They both apply themselves extremely well, rarely miss a day and are very willing to assist in anyway.
“Both of these young men are a credit to Dukes and as such Dukes would like to promote both of them as fine young adults who show if you work hard there is reward for not only yourself but for those around you.”
Dukes has been operating in the area with the same owner since 1976.
