CASEY businesses wanting to apply for the 2011 Casey Business Awards are being encouraged to now.
With the closing date of Friday 8 July fast approaching, City of Casey economic development manager David Wilkinson said there was no better time than now to start the application process.
“The council understands how busy business owners are, so the awards application process has been made as simple as possible,” he said.
“It doesn’t take long to complete an application and the relevant forms can be viewed and downloaded from the council’s website.”
Businesses can apply for the categories Home-Based Business of the Year, Retailer of the Year, New Business of the Year, Manufacture of the Year, Hospitality and Tourism, Business and Professional Services, Health and Personal Services, Trades and Construction and Social Enterprise.
All entries will go in the running for three ‘judges’ choice’ awards and winners of each category will contend for the 2011 Casey Business of the Year Award.
Winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner in October.
For more information and application forms visit www.casey.vic.gov.au/caseybusinessawards.
