STUDENTS and staff at Hampton Park Primary School have experienced first-hand the progress of their new school building.
On Monday, the children and teachers got a tour of the building site after gathering for a whole-school photo standing on the slab.
Hampton Park Primary School acting principal Leonie King said the school community was excited about the approaching completion of their new learning space, which had been funded as part of the Federal Government’s Economic Stimulus Plan.
“The integrated library and classroom environment will allow for collaborative and flexible learning approaches in an information and communication technology-rich environment,” she said.
“The staff and students are currently trialling new teaching and learning approaches in preparation for moving into the new learning space later this year.”
