BETTER Homes and Gardens star Jason Hodges visited Bunnings Warehouse in Cranbourne to give ladies a D.I.Y. tutorial in gardening.
Mr Hodges spoke to the 104 women who turned up for the workshop about how useful certain plants are, the best places to plant them, how to look after them and how to landscape them to get the best effect. Store manager Mark Dempsey said the workshop was fantastic and Mr Hodges was really good with the crowd.
“The ladies really responded to him and got a lot of information out of him,” Mr Dempsey said.
“A lot of ladies who went have come back in again since and have taken on some of his recommendations.”
Mr Hodges worked with plants that were available at Bunnings and highlighted some plants that people may normally look past that are good to use.
“There was not one piece of negative feedback. They all had a good time,” Mr Dempsey said.
Bunnings Warehouse has a range of free D.I.Y. workshops that run over each weekend, including workshops for children. See in-store for details.
