CRANBOURNE West Primary School students are training hard for the Adidas School Fun-Run and are asking for support from the local community.
The junior athletes require sponsorship to pay for resources and are counting on the local community to get behind their efforts and make this a runaway success.
People can assist the budding stars by donating money when they come knocking at the door.
People can also help by buying their next pair of Adidas shoes from the local The Athletes Foot store as Adidas will donate five per cent of the sale back to the school.
“Cranbourne West Primary School should be congratulated for holding a health-based fundraiser. The Adidas School Fun-Run offers fitness education, health messages and encourages students to get active,” said Brendan Hopp, general manager of The Fundraising Group.
Olympic athlete and Adidas School Fun-Run ambassador Craig Mottram agreed, saying: “Together with participating schools we hope to inspire a nation to better health and wellbeing”.
If your school, club or group would like to raise extra funding with the Adidas School Fun-Run call The Fundraising Group on 1300 333 788.
