Pulling a crowd

TAKE the family to the Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck Show on Saturday 2 April.
The annual event, which has been happening since 1998, will have lots of things to see and do for everyone.
There will be kids’ amusements, helicopter rides, motorbikes, burnout cars and much more.
A highlight of the day will be the tractor pull, which will feature tractors you wouldn’t normally see such as tractors with jet engines or aeroplane motors in them, or tractors with two motors instead of one pulling along a weight that gets heavier as it gets pulled down the track.
The Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck Show will go from 10am until 10pm. Entry costs $25 for adults, $10 for kids and $60 for families. Early bird special before 12pm costs $15 for adults, $10 for kids and $40 for families. Kids under 10 years enter free.
All proceeds go to local clubs, schools and various charities.
