Fine art showcased

BERWICK Artists Society will be showcasing brilliant artistic, creative and talented groups when it hosts the ‘Festival of Arts’ again this weekend at the Old Cheese Factory in Berwick.
If you are interested in art, then this is the place to be with everything artistic and creative at your fingertips. It will be a great family day out with activities planned throughout the two weekends.
The event, sponsored by the City of Casey, includes three exhibitions and demonstrations by some of Australia’s leading artists from the Berwick Artists Society such as Elly Abrat, Janet Matthews and Glo Edkins and special guest artists David Chen and Ev Hales.
There will be an arts and craft market, performances from ADLIB Entertainment, dance groups and live music, face painting and magic to keep the children entertained plus heaps more.
The Homestead Café will be open or you can bring a picnic.
The Festival ofArts will be held onApril 2 and 3.
