THE Cranbourne Secondary College swimming sports was a success despite the average weather conditions. Sport co-ordinator Kate Faulkner said more than 700 students attended the day at the Doveton Pool in the Park last Thursday. “The kids all seemed to really enjoy it,” Ms Faulkner said. “Many kids dressed in house colours for the best dressed competition, which was organised by the year 12 leadership team.”
The water slide was open and the year 12 leadership team also organised a teachers versus students games and swimming race, which the teachers won.
The school’s green sports house, Donnelly, was the winner of the swimming sports.
Ms Faulkner said overall it was a great day and everybody had a good time. “All the staff helped out which was great,” she said. “Our school leadership did a great job on the day as well.”
