Plan input tapped

THE Casey community is encouraged to provide feedback about proposed changes to council planning policies.
The Municipal Strategic Statement (MSS) is being revised and is on public exhibition until 25 March.
Casey’s director of planning and development services, Peter Fitchett, said the MSS was a critical part of council’s strategic planning, and that effective planning was important to preserve the character of Casey’s neighbourhoods as well as meet the needs of the city’s rapid growth.
Casey, one of the largest and fastest growing municipalities in Victoria, has experienced significant growth since the MSS was last reviewed in 2003.
For details and to make a submission visit a Casey customer service centre or view it online at www.casey.vic.gov.au/currentconsultations
