THREE people were injured during separate horse accidents in the Cranbourne area on Monday afternoon.
A man was thrown into the air and fractured his pelvis when the horse he was riding bucked on Ballarto Road in Clyde about 4pm.
Paramedic David Braham said the man was not wearing a helmet, and was lucky he didn’t hit his head.
He was taken to The Valley Private Hospital.
At 6pm, paramedics were called to treat a 25-year-old woman who was also injured when she was thrown from a horse in Lyndhurst. She was taken to Dandenong Hospital.
Half an hour later, a 17-year-old girl was taken to Frankston Hospital after she dislocated her shoulder while walking her horse when it bucked in Cranbourne South.
