A SMALL pile of grass and weeds on a front lawn in Cranbourne was set on fire last week.
Police said the pile of grass was on the front lawn of a house on Cranbourne Road when it was set on fire about 9.30pm on Wednesday.
CFA crews attended, but the fire was already extinguished.
