ILLUSTRATOR Marc McBride showed off his talents at the Casey Cardinia Library Summer Reading Club finale last week.
Mr McBride, the illustrator of Emily Rodda’s best-selling Deltora Quest series, spoke about his creative process, starting with an idea and explaining how to develop it. As he sketched a dragon at the Casey council chamber in Narre Warren, he explained how he put his colours together.
This year’s summer reading club celebrated all things creepy, with the theme Scare Up A Good Book.
