A FOUR-wheel drive crossed the median strip on High Street in Cranbourne on Tuesday and crashed into three parked cars.
Acting Sergeant Allen Inderwisch said the female driver of the black four-wheel drive was travelling south on High Street and attempting to do a U-turn at the intersection of High and Sladen streets about 11.50am.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and went through a wire barrier across the median strip and struck the parked cars, which were unattended. Acting Sgt Inderwisch said the driver was lucky not to sustain any major injuries.
One lane was closed on High Street for about half an hour while police, fire and ambulance crews cleared the scene.
