FIRE crews believe an oil burner caused extensive damage to a Cranbourne house on Tuesday night.
The Cranbourne CFA were called to the house on Glenbourne Road about 7pm.
Senior station officer Phil Charles said the female occupant of the house, believed to be in her 50s, managed to control the fire until crews arrived.
The fire did not damage any other rooms in the house. The woman was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
