CRANBOURNE class clowns had the chance to strut their stuff at school last week.
Comedian Dave Callan led the group of Cranbourne Secondary College theatre studies and music students in a comedy workshop – pointing out the different types of comedy.
Students also had the chance to get up on stage and show off their skills to their peers.
Drama teacher Susan Bergman said the students enjoyed being able to gain more of an insight into the genre of comedy from a professional, and learn some of the tools required to have a go at stand-up comedy.
“It was really good. It’s always fantastic for the school to be able to get professionals in an area that can come in and work with the students,” Ms Bergman said.
The State Government provided funded for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to run the Class Clowns program.
