Sacrifice remembered

CASEY residents gathered across the municipality for a moment of reflection on Remembrance Day.
Speaking at the Endeavour Hills service, vice-president of the Dandenong Cranbourne RSL John Laughton said Remembrance Day was a chance to remember the sacrifice made by those who served, suffered and died on duty.
Mr Laughton said their sacrifice ensured freedom, democracy and quality of life for future generations in Australia.
He thanked the school communities for their support of the Remembrance Day service.
