A NEW image is being created for Tooradin to encourage tourism.
Monash University students have been asked to design a logo and graphic that identifies and differentiates Tooradin as a unique travel destination.
The Tooradin and Coastal Villages Commerce Committee, in conjunction with the City of Casey and Monash University, are working on the new image for the coastal town.
The City of Casey has offered a $1000 prize for the winning entry. The entries supplied are Tooradin: Village by the Sea and Tooradin: EcoVillage- Portal to the past and future.
Both of the briefs could be viewed on YouTube.
Voting for the winning entry starts on 9 November, and the community is invited to take part.
The entries will also be on display at FoodWorks, Pelican Café, Tooradin & District Sports Club, the post office and Bendigo Bank.
One voter will win a hamper with prizes from a range of Tooradin traders.
The winning design will be announced at the Christmas on the Foreshore celebrations on 17 December.
