IT was three cheers for teachers at Hampton Park Primary School last month, when the school community celebrated World Teacher’s Day by enjoying a morning tea on 29 October.
School council president Lynda Carter organised the morning tea, with students putting on performances as part of the celebrations.
Holt MP Anthony Byrne attended the event.
“We are very fortunate to have in Holt examples of outstanding teachers who, by sheer force of their commitment, vision and leadership, profoundly influence the lives of the students who attend their schools,” Mr Byrne said.
