A TOORADIN Primary School student was chosen as the winner for one category in the statewide South East Water Poster Competition.
As part of National Water Week, South East Water called on primary school students to create a poster reflecting water related issues which are important to them.
Tooradin’s Tia won the prep category, and student Corey was awarded third place in the grade one-two categ-ory.
As part of Tia’s prize, her picture was made into a mural by artist Tony Sowersby.
Mr Sowersby worked with Tia on Monday to produce a painting which will be on display for one year at the Mount Martha Treatment Plant.
