A WOMAN was accidentally run over by a tractor in Devon Meadows on Monday morning.
Paramedics from Cranbourne were called to the incident just before 7am. Paramedic Jeff Edwards said the tractor apparently reversed over her.
He said the 33-year-old woman was lying in the back seat of a car when paramedics arrived.
“She told us that she had abdominal pain but was unable to stand on her own and had been walking around,” Mr Edwards said.
“We did our best to calm her and gave her an inhaler containing pain relief medication to help make her more comfortable.
“We also used a cardiac monitor to keep an eye on her heart rate,” he said.
“A drip was inserted into her arm so that we could give her more powerful pain relief drugs”
Mr Edwards said she was taken to Dandenong Hospital.
“Thankfully, she was in a stable condition, but she appears to have been very lucky,” he said.
