A SODA bomb was set alight at Amstel Golf Club in Cranbourne on September 20.
Police said an unknown offender went to the Cranbourne-Frankston Road golf club between 8am and 1.30pm and placed a soda bomb, wrapped in foil, in the bucket of hole one.
The device was then ignited.
About $100 damage was caused to the bucket and base of the flagpole.
