CASEY residents can learn how to make their community a safer place to live and work at the Cranbourne Community Services and Safety Expo.
To celebrate Community Safety Month, the City of Casey is hosting the expo on Thursday 14 October.
The expo, to be held at Greg Clydesdale Square, High Street Cranbourne, will feature a variety of information stalls as well as a free sausage sizzle, face painting and balloon artist for children.
Representatives from the council, Victoria Police, CFA and SES, along with many another local organisations, will be at the expo to provide advice and information about a range of safety-related matters.
Casey Radio will also be broadcasting live from the expo site.
City of Casey Mayor Lorraine Wreford said Community Safety Month provided an opportunity for residents to take part in activities and learn how to make local communities safer places to live and work.
“The month aims to promote awareness about a broad range of safety matters including crime prevention, personal safety, safe work practices and staying safe during an emergency,” she said.
The Cranbourne Community Services and Safety Expo will be held on Thursday 14 October from 10am to 2pm, at Greg Clydesdale Square, Cranbourne.
