CRANBOURNE Good Guys is encouraging locals to think green when buying electronic goods.
With Enviro Week held from 12 to 18 September, a Smart Facts initiative has been developed in-store to help customers discover how much it costs to run particular products and their water and energy usage.
Proprietor of the Cranbourne store Frank Butera said his staff were committed to selling energy and water efficient products.
“The Smart Facts encourage our customers to think green and take into consideration the running costs and environmental impact of the product before they make their purchase,” Mr Butera said.
“We have ‘bucket icons’ on in-store display washing machines, which provide the number of standard buckets used per wash.” There are also ‘good advice’ sheets available at Cranbourne to provide environmental information on particular products in the store.
