Spellbound final

KILBERRY Valley Primary School hosted the Casey zone final for the Gippspell Spelling Bee last month.
More than 150 people attended the event with 52 students representing 13 schools across the City of Casey.
Casey Gippspell co-ordinator Toni Arfaras said she was ecstatic with the turnout given it was the first year a Casey zone final had been held.
The winners for each year level were:
Year 5: Samuel Sebastian (Berwick Fields Primary School)
Year6: Keshav Ramachandran (Coral Park Primary School)
Year 7: Devinie G Don (Berwick Secondary College)
Year 8: Pooja Khot (Berwick Secondary College)
