THERE is a multicultural flavour in the garden beds at Cranbourne Secondary College.
Students got their hands dirty and planted a range of vegetables and herbs to celebrate cultural diversity.
Most of the students who took part were English as Second Language (ESL) students, who planted brocollini, an Italian cabbage called kale and Vietnamese mint.
A nursery in Greensborough donated the plants, and representatives from the Gould League assisted the students.
The students plan to have a harvest day in term four.
