GREG Hunt was officially congratulated last week for being re-elected as the Flinders MP.
Mr Hunt has held the seat for the Liberal Party since 2001, and won 54.3 per cent of the vote at the polls in August.
Labor’s Francis Ventura won 31.76 per cent of the vote.
Family First and the Australian Greens also contested the seat, with the Greens receiving more than 10,000 votes and a 3 per cent swing.
Mr Hunt said he was gratified to be re-elected and thanked voters for giving him the opportunity to represent them again.
