Stalwart thanked

A LONG-TIME president of the Cranbourne Senior Citizen’s Club was celebrated at the club’s annual general meeting last month.
President Ed Miller made a presentation to Barry Mentha and wished him well after his retirement as president after many years. The club has eight vacancies for a three-day trip to Cobram-Barooga for 15 to 17 November. It is a summer special and costs $145.
The club will have a Blumes fashion parade at midday on 18 September. A light lunch will be served. A concert with Don and Dave will take place at 1pm on 26 September. Afternoon tea will be provided.
If anyone is interested in the three-day trip they can contact Pat Mentha on 5995 2646 or 5996 2037.
