HIGH School Musical came to life at the Cranbourne Theatre.
Lyndhurst Secondary College turned on a show for packed audiences recently, with the production based on the popular movie.
Production manager Catherine Blackburne said almost 70 students were involved in the production and had been rehearsing since February.
Ms Blackburne said it was the first production the school had done since the announcement the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge would not go ahead this year.
“It has been a pretty exciting, but challenging time,” Ms Blackburne said.
“I think it showcases kids’ talent. Some lead singers had never sung anywhere else before and they’re just brilliant.
“The kids learned so much from being a part of it and get to know the teachers outside the classrooms.”
The school performed High School Musical last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
