Tuned in to great win

By Bridget Cook
A LYNBROOK resident has walked away with $50,000 cash after she won a Good Guys competition last week.
The woman, who does not want to be named, was one of five people from across Australia to win a cash prize from the Good Guys $250,000 give-away competition.
To enter the competition, customers had to purchase any plasma, LCD or LED television from the Good Guys between 1 May and 30 June, then log online and enter their details.
The women purchased a television at the Narre Warren Good Guys store.
“I am still in shock, it really hasn’t sunk in yet,” she said.
“I had to tell my husband four times and he still doesn’t believe me.
“It couldn’t have come at a better time, we are just building a house.
“Buying a television at The Good Guys Narre Warren has turned into a very good thing.”
The Good Guys Narre Warren owner Matthew Sheedy said last week that the store was also very pleased.
“We are delighted that one of our customers takes away a major prize and look forward to congratulating her in person,” Mr Sheedy said.
“With the switch over to digital television progressively happening nation wide, the competition was extremely popular, many customers changing over to new HD televisions in the past couple of months.”
